Hi, I’m Maggie - the artist behind Messy-Moo Studio.
I’m a watercolour artist living in regional Victoria, inspired by the gentle magic of Australian native flora and fauna. I’m happiest when I’m outdoors- wandering bush tracks, camping under a sky full of stars, or exploring new places. Those moments of stillness and discovery often find their way into my artwork: the curve of a gum leaf spotted on a walk, the soft light of early morning at a campsite, or the character of an old tractor resting in a paddock.
Messy-Moo Studio began as a simple creative escape and slowly grew into a place where I could share the things that bring me joy - warm, whimsical, nature-loving art made with heart. Every piece is created by hand, often with a cup of tea nearby, my dog in my lap and a little creative chaos on the table.
My goal is to make art that feels gentle, nostalgic and a little bit magical - the kind of pieces that bring warmth into a home or make someone smile when they open a card. Thank you for being here and supporting my small, messy, wonderful corner of creativity.
